Our commune holds together all the major institutions in the country, the main educational institutions, the biggest public parks within the metropolitan area, which are green areas that generate oxygen for all our citizens. We receive daily over two million visitors among students and workers, and we gather a large part of the economic activity of our country. That is why it is essential that we can lead transformations that are urgent. We are convinced that the measures that we can take in Santiago de Chile can have a big global impact, and become an example not only for our country but also for Latin America, and why not become part of the changes in the world.

Therefore, we will keep working on water management, a new waste management model and the protection of our public parks, as a fundamental part of this task. We are an inclusive commune that focuses on rights, a green and sustainable commune from the south of the world. From our municipality, we assume the task of building a city by 2050, a city for the future, a city that looks up to the 21st century and goes hand in hand with care of the environment and with its people, so that every day we can live better.
